Depeche Mode - Violator cross stitch pattern
What do you get when you paint a rose red, nail it to a board, and snap a photo? You get the cover of one of the most compelling albums of Depeche Mode's career - an album where every song is a monster without an ounce of filler. Part of the beauty of this cover is the contradiction between the fragile rose and the word "violator." The title was actually meant as an ironic joke. The band wanted "the most heavy metal album name they could come up with." In Depeche Mode's own words, reach out and touch faith with this iconic image.
